Edge IQ server requires a valid license to operate. This section explains the licensing options and how to configure them.

License Types

Standard Plan

• Free - Get started with our basic observability solution
• Includes Edge IQ
• Up to 1TB/Day data processing
• On Prem/Cloud deployment options
• Routing/Enrichment/Transformation capabilities
• No Route or Source Limits
• Community Support
• Measure IQ not included (Contact Sales for access)

Growth Plan

• $5,000/month - For teams needing advanced features and support
• Includes all Standard features plus:
• Up to 5TB/Day data processing
• Centralized Management
• Alerts
• 8x5 Support

Enterprise Plan

• Custom pricing - Tailored solutions for organizations with complex needs
• Includes all Growth features plus:
• Measure IQ included
• Flat Volume Rate (5TB+)
• Real-Time Query Engine
• Data Flows/Visualization
• Governance
• Managed Service
• 24x7 Support

Configuring a Server License

To configure a license on an Edge IQ server, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Edge IQ UI
2. Open the navigation menu in the top left corner
3. Select Manage -> Licensing
4. Click the Active License button
5. Paste your license key and click the Activate button

Note

After activating a new license, the server may need to be restarted for the changes to take effect.

License Management

• License Validation: The server periodically validates the license to ensure it remains active
• License Expiration: You’ll receive notifications when your license is approaching expiration
• License Transfer: Contact support if you need to transfer a license to a different server
• License Upgrade: To upgrade your license, contact our sales team for assistance
